Dr Vandevoort has worked for many years as a plastic surgeon at AZ Delta Roeselare (general hospital), where he runs a broad plastic surgery practice. He is also responsible for the breast reconstruction programme at University Hospital Gasthuisberg.
He completed his foundational plastic surgery training at KUL (Catholic University of Leuven) and continued his training in Bristol, Glasgow and Paris. Besides reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, he focuses on reconstruction after oncological breast surgery. He performed the first robot-assisted autologous breast reconstruction in Europe.
