You receive the same medication in both cases, but a general anaesthetic requires a breathing machine. For sedation, you breathe on your own. So you can get back on your feet faster after the procedure.

Hou rekening met een hersteltijd van 1 tot 2 weken. Na de ingreep krijg je een drukbeha die je gedurende 6 weken moet dragen. Het uiteindelijke resultaat van je borstvergroting zie je na 3 maanden.
Meteen na de ingreep ervaar je wat pijn en spanning. Ook kan er een drukkend gevoel op de borstkas voorkomen. Dat kan enkele dagen aanhouden. Om die reden schrijven wij ook pijnstilling voor.
Er zijn minieme risico’s verbonden aan een borstvergroting. Verwikkelingen na elke chirurgische ingreep zoals nabloeding, infectie of minder goede heling van de wondjes zijn mogelijk, maar uiterst zeldzaam.
Ja, prothesen hebben geen enkel nadelig effect op borstvoeding.
Na 4 weken kan je lichte inspanningen weer oppakken, zware fysieke activiteiten pas na 6 weken.
We maken enkel een klein sneetje in de oksel of rond de tepel, zodat de littekens vrijwel onzichtbaar zijn.
