In liposculpture, we always inject an analgesic fluid under the skin first regardless of the type of anaesthetic. We use several small incisions of 3 to 5 mm to aspirate away the subcutaneous fatty tissue using high-tech equipment. For lipofilling, we use even finer tubes to remove the fat. We then treat it using a special technique so we can safely inject it back where you want it. Both liposuction and lipofilling leave almost no scars.

[ Duration of procedure ]

Exactly how long the procedure takes depends on how extensive the liposculpture is. You stay with us until you feel well enough to go home.
[ Type of anaesthetic ]
Sedation or a general anaesthetic
You receive the same medication in both cases, but a general anaesthetic requires a breathing machine. For sedation, you breathe on your own. So you can get back on your feet faster after the procedure. Which anaesthetic you get depends on the extent of your liposuction. The more areas and body volume, the more likely you will need a general anaesthetic. But sedation is usually sufficient in 90% of all cases.
[ Recovery period ]
1 WEEK
Allow for one week for your recovery. We provide you with pressure garments that you wear for the six weeks after your liposculpture. This helps your skin recover, reduces swelling and evens out the texture of your skin. You also do light exercise, such as walking, and balance this with enough rest.
[ Results ]
After 3 months
After three months, you are fully healed and your body has assumed its natural shape and position. Only then do you see the final result of your liposculpture. Are you gaining or losing weight? Just like anyone else, this can affect the firmness and shape of your treated body areas.

Na liposuctie zijn er miniscule littekens op de plaatsen waar de canules (zuigbuizen) zijn ingebracht. Deze littekens bevinden zich vaak op onopvallende plaatsen, zoals in de plooien of natuurlijke lijnen van het lichaam, zodat ze minder zichtbaar zijn.
