For a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), we always inject an analgesic fluid under the skin first regardless of the type of anaesthetic. We use a few minute incisions to gently aspirate away the subcutaneous fatty tissue. We treat this fat with a special technique that allows us to safely inject it back into your buttocks. Immediately after the procedure, your buttocks may be a bit swollen. This is because we usually inject a little more fat than you ultimately want to keep. This is because some fat dissipates in the first few weeks after your BBL. The procedure leaves almost no visible scars.

[ Duration of procedure ]

Exactly how long the procedure takes depends on how extensive the BBL is. You stay with us until you feel well enough to go home.

Sedation or a general anaesthetic
You receive the same medication in both cases, but a general anaesthetic requires a breathing machine. For sedation, you breathe on your own. So you can get back on your feet faster after the procedure.
[ Recovery period ]
1 WEEK
Allow for one week for your recovery. You wear pressure garments for the six weeks following your BBL.
[ Results ]
After 3 months
After three months, you are fully healed and your tummy and buttocks have assumed their natural shape and position. Only then do you see the final result of your BBL. Are you gaining or losing weight? Just like anyone else, this can affect the firmness and shape of your treated body areas.
